VIP culture and blatant police brutality on streets of Lahore this time caught on CCTV
So the story goes that on 7th October around noon Rabia Imran daughter of Chief Minister of Punjab, Mr Shahbaz Sharif went to buy something from a bakery. Since the bakery was closed from 12-3pm one of the workers in the shop (said to be a sweeper) told the respected lady that she should come back later. Here it seems she didn’t like the answer and only left after threatening him.
Sometime after 6pm three of her guards came with Punjab Police’s Elite Force and some normal Policemen, took the boy out and after a few minutes of talk started beating the hell out of him. One of the Elite Force’s man can be seen trying to stop them but he is quickly pushed aside, while the boy is kicked and dragged to an awaiting Vigo on the side. Boy was later found with serious injuries from the assault.
As per the video, Lahore Bakery’s owner and the victim of this heinous act both are willing to be on record to tell their story. Even Pakistan’s “respected” Geo TV has taken their interviews but they somehow just forgot to broadcast them. CM Shahbaz Sharif has ordered an inquiry but I wonder what will be the outcome of it? Will he be willing to punish his own flesh and blood? Perhaps he and his party should remember the fact that elections are right on the corner!
I actually respected what he has did for Punjab in terms of infrastructure, but seriously this much lack of respect for the citizens who vote for him and his party!?!
