Mom: See if you had taken a job in Islamabad you could have saved X-amount of money just in rent and utilities (by living with them).
Me: Well come on I saved you from the heartbreak you would have got when your daughter in-law would have wanted me to move out! (South Asian problems)

Haha!! I’ve told my parents to be ready for their daughter-in-law not wanting to live with them. (even if she does I won’t want to - rather blame it on her and get that animosity started early)
