Father is back from USA, I am glad he cut his trip short.
Finally attended a friend’s wedding yesterday, first in over 6 years! Missed so many of them because I would always happen to be in a totally different country at that time.
Have also decided to succumb to the social pressure and am now willing to look at the rishtas. This is going to get interesting, but please do not expect much blogging about it.
Got some interesting meetings lined up for tomorrow in Islamabad.
Also yesterday had a not so interesting discussion with a very dear cousin over Caliphat, Shariah and Islamic history. At least I know where we get our extremism from.
Abu Bakr tried to wake me up in the morning to go clean up the streets of Islamabad. Someone had started this wonderful event on the Facebook where they would go clean up the streets after all the carnage left on the streets and I really wanted to go. But waking up at 10 after sleeping only for 4 hours turned out to be quite an impossible feat!
