About me

As my domain name already explains, my name is Usman Malik.

I was born in England, raised in Pakistan and currently live in Scotland.

I am by study an Electronics Engineer with another Engineering Management degree, by profession at the moment a full-time student otherwise a consultant and an entrepreneur, by interest; a photographer, writer (fiction/non-fiction), an activist, adventurist, collector, movie-buff and someone with keen interest in geopolitics, international relations and history.

I do read a lot, but I have no particular preference when it comes to reading. My interests in books can vary anywhere from Irish civil war to Dan Brown’s fiction, from history of Arabs to Signal processing.

I term myself religiously Muslim though it can be a very relative term, hence disagreements are welcomed. I do however believe in general goodness of people and do not believe that there is anything such as pure evil. But yes I am pretty opinionated when it comes to certain things and I leave no opportunity to voice them when necessary.

Last thing I am ashamed for are my views.
