Funny considering that 98% mosques in Pakistan don’t have a praying area for women. But who cares we want one in Espresso.

Apparently some lady wanted to pray inside Espresso, a cafe in Lahore after breaking her fast. Staff told her that there is no place inside the cafe where she can pray. She left the cafe and now there is a protest outside the cafe!
I sincerely hope that the affected lady reads my this post somehow. Isn’t mosque a place where you actually go to pray? I don’t even go to Espresso, but...

Spent most of the day discussing media strategy and then in a meeting about a big budget Pakistani feature film (by Pakistani standards). It is interesting what people are coming up with here.
Also got to sit down with some very interesting youngsters - let’s see if we can come up with something in next few days.
Was also checking air-tickets to Glasgow and they all seem to be crazy...

This year, you might (I definitely will not) see Veena Malik, Dr Aamir Liaqat and Maya Khan on different channels teaching you about the virtues of Ramzan and teachings of Islam.
I do not mind any of that, for they might be much better human beings than me and thus much better muslims. Maybe I misunderstood these great role models. But this “choice” of hosts has left me wondering about the people...
