the-sexpat-life asked: Hey, I was NOT stalking your Tumblr and I couldn't help but notice that you happen to be studying electronics engineering. Physics is my area of interest, too, namely electronics. As of now, I'm learning basic physics but I plan on expanding that very shortly. What do you have to say about this profession? Like, (sorry if I'm being too vague, I'm not quite sure how to word...

Gulf News: Keep out of our affairs, Bahrain tells... →
Finally something you have been missing in media and just do not wish to accept: Shaikh Ali Salman also warned against Bahrain being used for a proxy war between rival regional superpowers Iran and Saudi Arabia. “We urge Iran not to meddle in Bahraini internal affairs,” he told a press conference, also demanding the withdrawal of Saudi-led Gulf troops deployed in the kingdom in...

whispermelies replied to your post: 1:42 pm// آخر ہارنے میں اتنی کیا برائی ہے؟ I read the title and struggled through the rest of it, and only understood about 20%. I speak it really well, but I can’t read it that well! Are you going to translate for us? Or leave us all mystified and jealous that we can’t type in Urdu? Lol. This would be a rough translation: What is so bad in losing? If I...

Ira Flatow brings us this video of NASA astronauts testing out several different spacesuit prototypes. Did a hour long Drive-around timelapse with help of Ahmed. First part is where I fixed the tripod on the back seat to absorb the shock and provide support but it didn’t work out well enough as you can see it eventually sliding on one side. Second part is where Ahmed suggested using the Sunroof for more support and keeping the camera outside which proved to be a way better idea. What I am...

6:11 pm // Sorry to say it is going to be a war...
Thank God that India has won the match against Australia (yeah whole world likes you out of the game!) and now will face off Pakistan on 30th March. This can simply be put as, there will be a WAR! Congrats to Indians for winning their last game of this World Cup. And wish all of my Indian friend heartfelt condolences in advance for losing a game on their home ground ;)

sashya-k asked: I definitely want India to win cause I am almost unnecessarily and very passionately anti-Australia when it comes to cricket much to the chagrin of my bf who is Sri Lankan (I know, I think he should have his citizenship revoked too *eyeroll*). But the big plus point is if India wins today, then we get to look forward to Pakistan hopefully demolishing them in the semi! :D

ja-sei-namorar replied to your photo: My first “halal beer”. That’s what the menu said! Halal beer? Isn’t that an oxymoron? Well it is, that is why at the dinner one of the friends asked a curious question - so can we have Halal Pork? But anyway for some reason the Lebanese restaurant found it “helpful” to write a zero-percent alcohol Beer as a Halal one.  sashya-k replied to...

I am not a fan of reblogged discussions so am just starting a new post, my blog utilises wonderful disqus - and they are more than good for comments or discussions. That made clear, there seems to be a general sense of ignorance about the events which have been taking place around the world. The name of revolutions till stirs a sense of enthusiasm in our minds and especially since we Muslims are...

Another Unconstitutional War Begins →
If all goes as planned, this is how the U.S. will enter yet another arbitrary, unnecessary, unjust, and unconstitutional war. This war breaks every rule of the Powell Doctrine. This is a war fought neither as a last resort, nor is the U.S. prepared to use overwhelming force. Based on the mismatch between what the U.S. and our allies are authorized to do and what we have set out to do, mission...

So who lied? They all did. The federal government knew whether Davis had immunity or not, but it kept quiet. The Punjab government and police knew the two ‘innocents’ killed were at least petty thieves and probably more, but Punjab hawked a different line. — A definitely recommended read. As for reaction across Pakistan in Photos: Activists across Pakistan protest Davis’ release
